We use information to provide services, including to: provide you with the experiences, products, and services you request, view, engage with, or purchase; communicate with you about your transactions with us and send you information or request feedback about features on our sites and applications or changes to our policies; send you offers and promotions for our products and services or third-party products and services; personalize content and experiences; provide you with targeted advertising based on your activity on our sites and applications and on third-party sites and applications; operate, understand, optimize, develop, or improve our sites, applications, products, services and operations, including by using guest survey research and analytics tools; and detect, investigate and prevent activities that may violate our policies, pose safety issues, or be fraudulent or illegal.

Use of Precise Location Data. In order to access certain services from your computer or mobile device, you may be required to share your device’s precise location data (e.g., latitude and longitude) with us. In addition to providing you with certain services, this also enables us to serve you Content related to your local area such as news and sports, depending on your subscription. This data may also be used to tailor advertising to you based on your location. We collect personal information from and about you when you visit our website or purchase products or services from us.

These Partners might include (depending on what services you use): your TV or internet service provider, or other streaming media device providers who make our service available on their device; mobile phone carriers or other companies who provide services to you and collect payment for the our services for distribution to us or provide pre-paid promotions for our services; and voice assistant platform providers who enable interaction with our service through voice commands. The information Partners provide us varies depending on the nature of the Partner services, and may include: search queries and commands applicable to Sarofsky that you make through Partner devices or voice assistant platforms; service activation information such as your email address or other contact information; or IP addresses, device IDs or other unique identifiers, as well as associated pre-paid promotion, billing and user interface information, that support user authentication, the service registration experience, Partner payment processing, and the presentation of Sarofsky content to you through portions of the Partner user interface.

Information From Other Sources. We also obtain information from other sources. We protect this information according to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the data. These sources vary over time, but could include: service providers that help us determine a location based on your IP address in order to customize our service and for other uses consistent with this Privacy Policy; security service providers who provide us with information to secure our systems, prevent fraud and help us protect the security of Sarofsky accounts; payment service providers who provide us with payment or balance information, or updates to that information, based on their relationship with you; online and offline data providers, from which we obtain aggregated demographic, interest based and online advertising related data; or publicly-available sources such as publicly available posts on social media platforms and information available through public databases associating IP addresses with internet service providers (ISPs).

We do not sell or share your personal information, except as set forth below.

Third-Party Service Providers. We employ other companies and individuals to perform certain functions, including but not limited to fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, developing systems, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. We may provide your personal information to these third-party service providers as necessary to perform such functions for us. Your personal information may not be used by these third-party service providers for any other purpose other than to perform services provided to us.

Partners. As described above, you may have a relationship with one or more of our Partners, in which case we may share certain information with them in order to coordinate with them on providing our services to members and providing information about the availability of the Sarofsky service. For example, depending on what Partner services you use, we may share information: in order to facilitate Partner pre-paid promotions or collection of payment for our services for distribution to us; with Partners who operate voice assistant platforms that allow you to interact with our service using voice commands; and so that content and features available in our services can be suggested to you in the Partner’s user interface. For members, these suggestions are part of our services and may include customized and personalized viewing recommendations.

Promotional offers. We may offer joint promotions or programs that, in order for your participation, will require us to share your information with third parties. In fulfilling these types of promotions, we may share your name and other information in connection with fulfilling the incentive. Please note that these third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.

Legal Process. We may be required to transfer or disclose your personal information to comply with a legal obligation, subpoena or other demand from governmental authorities, or when we reasonably believe the law requires such disclosure. We also reserve the right to share your personal information with legal authorities and other companies for fraud protection and credit risk reduction, to detect any technical or security vulnerabilities, to enforce our Terms of Use or other applicable policies, or to otherwise protect the rights, property, safety, or security of third parties, Users of our website, and Sarofsky.

The retention of this data is necessary for provision of the Services and analysis of historical performance.
